If you're getting tired of World War II game, then you are in luck. Today GameVideos brings us the first gameplay trailer for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The video is unquestionably modern, featuring laser sights, gun-mounted grenade launchers, and night vision goggles. However, it's also clear that the game maintains the feel of previous Call of Duty titles, really making you feel like you're in the center of the action. Blu-ray Disc Beating HD DVD...Thanks to the PS3

Research firm Digital Entertainment Group (DEG) revealed that there are 1.5 million Blu-ray players in the U.S., compared to only 300,000 HD DVD players. But while the HD DVD hardware base is a nearly equal split of set-top boxes and Xbox 360 HD DVD players, the Blu-ray camp is divided up into 1.4 million PlayStation 3 systems and 100,000 set-top boxes.

Without a doubt, the PlayStation 3 has helped Blu-ray Disc outperform HD DVD, because when it comes to software sales, DEG’s research indicated that "consumers have spent $35 million on Blu-ray software thus far in 2007, as opposed to $19 million on HD-DVD product."

Is Blu-ray Disc winning the next-generation optical-disc war? Is Sony on its way to winning a format war since its Betamax and Walkman formats were crushed by VHS and the iPod?

It has been a while since we've added your custom Forza 2 cars to the official X3F gallery, but it's not like we forgot about them or were purposely avoiding you. Really, we weren't. So, let's get to the vehicular goods. One of our favorite cars we received is Gabriel Acevedo's sequel to his first Spawn vehicle. His new one, as seen above, is down right beautiful. Gold star for you Gabriel, job well done. Our other favorite is Jayman007's X3F inspired car, because it says "X360F FTW" on the back, which is just the right amount of butt kissing to be enjoyed. And if you're feeling really manly and are up for some eye candy, be sure to stare at cade's Jessica Alba Sin City ride. Uhh, yeah ... it's nice. GHII content coming next month

Xboxic » GHII content coming next month: "Some good news for Guitar Hero fans, new DLC is on the way according to a post on the Red Octane forums by an administrator. While this isn’t a formal announcement, it’s more than we’ve heard out of Red Octane about the title which was supposed to have “more online content than anyone has ever seen in a game”."

For those of you keeping track, this will be second batch of DLC released for the game, the first batch having been released back in April. Even though the first batch had a mixed reception, Activision still managed to garner 200,000 downloads. No specifics have been released, but we have some clues from rumors that surfaced almost two months ago. With the 80’s encore releasing next month, theres a chance that this could be what’s being released. Check back for more details soon and a formal announcement soon.
