
Dust off those night-vision goggles because today Ubisoft debuted a new build of Splinter Cell: Double Agent that featured two never-before-seen levels of the game, including the transition mission that links Chaos Theory with this latest instalment. Set in Iceland, the opening cutscene shows a spy plane flying silently through the night sky. Inside Sam Fisher prepares for his insertion jump, joined by hotshot rookie agent John, who acts as a guide through the opening stages of the game for players unfamiliar with the Splinter Cell series. As the rear hatch of the plane opens and Fisher walks to the edge and readies himself to jump, John dashes past and leaps into the darkness. Fisher curses his cocky counterpart before taking the plunge into the night sky himself.
