Hey Wii fans check this one out I just finished. Turned out better than I thought! :D It took me about 7-8 hours. The Wiimote was obviously the most time consuming. Trey27

Microsoft contemplates a 360 price cut

"In an interview with Bloomberg, Peter Moore and others discuss the Xbox 360 demographic, how they want to target moms and their kids, and hint at a possible 360 price cut. 'If we don't make that move, make it early and expand our demographic, we will wind up in the same place as with Xbox 1' Moore says, and what better way to move more consoles than with a price cut. Director of Xbox product management David Hufford reinforces this thinking by stating that 'we (Microsoft) are well aware that the sweet spot of the market is really 199 bucks' and that 'when mom walks into the store and sees she can get a console with a game for $250, she sees it as a $300 value'. It really sounds like Microsoft gets it.

But will we be seeing a Xbox 360 price drop this year or just a game bundle? We can't be sure, but we know Microsoft is cut throat about gaining ground in the console wars this generation and a price drop would help significantly. They just have to make sure their pocketbooks can handle more losses, but we're sure Bill would be willing to co-sign."

Forza 2 Auction House has some problems

"Forza 2 is finally available here in Europe, however before blowing money in the Auction House you might want to read the following. It seems there has been a problem of the game taking the money but not giving any cars to the winners. The problem is being investigated, but no solution is currently available.

The guys at Turn10 have however issued a few tips on how to avoid the problem.

1) Don’t bid again immediately if you receive a failed transaction after bidding. Technically, the transaction might have not failed and if you bid again, you might be outbidding yourself and therein lies the problem, we only retreive your last auction bid payment to return to you, and you technically would have two outstanding bids on the same item.

2) After a failed bid transaction, wait a short bit and check to see if your transaction did indeed go through, you’d be listed as the high bidder if the transaction actually succeeded. You might want to re-search for the item you just bid on to ensure the data is refreshed and current; or back out of the auction house and re-enter and check your MyBids tab for the item and it’s highbidder status."

However forumers on the official forums state that the problem occurs despite the above steps, and there are also reports that swapping cars with friends also leads to cars magically disappearing. Very strange goings on.

Turn10 admitted a problem was caused server side that they patched, but again forumers have complained that the problem hasn’t been fixed. So enter the bidding at your own risk; just don’t be surprised if your money suddenly disappears. Hopefully a fix will be arrive soon.

How-to: make custom Forza 2 paint jobs

If you listened to the latest episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast (and you really should have), then you'll know that the copious amounts of Forza 2 custom paint jobs hitting the net both amazed and befuddled us. They amazed us, obviously, because the level of work and detail that goes into these cars is amazing. They befuddled us because we had no idea how they were created. Lo and behold, we have discovered a handy how-to on the Forza 2 message boards. Posted by one Neubourn, the tutorial shows you step by step how the many shapes available in the Forza 2 livery editor can be transformed into incredibly detailed works of art. Yup, every custom paint job is merely a collection of shapes in different configurations and transparencies. It seems damned near unbelievable when you view the initial rough outline of Batman's Harley Quinn (see "Before" above), but after some extensive manipulation (and plenty of time we're sure) she came to life as clear as crystal.
