Wal-mart May Not Install Wii Demo Units, Say it's Too Dangerous

Wal-Mart's electronics department layout does not have an allotment of space to demo the Nintendo Wii for the fourth quarter. Manager says it's because they have a "fear of some kid getting hurt or injuring others in the process of flailing his arms around." As of now it's just a rumor.

25 Minutes of Guitar Hero 2 Video

An anonymous tipster — quaking in trepidation lest he be discovered giving us an 'exclusive' — directed us to this absolutely awesome 25 minute Guitar Hero 2 video. It was a competition held at Beerland in Austin at with the IGDA. Amazingly, the guy who ended up winning the competition had only play Guitar Hero a dozen times... and managed to win without even looking.

Virtua Tennis 3 Drops Online Play For PS3 Version?

According to a Finnish website, the PS3 version of Virtua Tennis 3 will not feature an online mode. Apparently, Producer Mie Kumagai from Sega said that Sony has not delivered the necessary information about their online network to make coding the online mode possible. Rumor mill for now, but since this exaclty scenario happened with Tony Hawk's Project 8 as well, we believe it.

New Kameo DLC announced

Rare just announced a new Downloadable Content Pack for Kameo, the Kameo Design-A-Skin DLC, which will be released tomorrow for free. They let some fans design new skins for the old Kameo characters, and look for yourself here how they turned up. The Pummel Weed and Snare skins almost makes me want to buy back the game.
