PlayStation 3 and packaging spotted in the wild

Oh deary us, pictures of the PlayStation 3 before it's launched? Looks a lot like some Sony dudes setting up at TGS when these were snapped, we can't imagine anywhere else in the world right now that would require such a setup. So what if we want our cake (Wii), and to eat it too (PS3) -- we could live with all three next-gen consoles.

Tokyo Game Show '06 latest photos 1,562+

John over at the Gamerscore blog has a posted a lot of photos from the past few days, including one of my secrets to not getting ill when I travel. I did get adventurous on a sidetrip we all took down a back alley in Shinjuku to this hole-in-the-wall BBQ place.

Tokyo Game Show 2006: Where's J Allard?

Ashcraft continues Kotaku's tradition of "creepily stalking" J Allard, who's actually been fairly difficult to find. Like a fat man's genitals, you may spend a lot of time looking, but once you find it you're not sure it was worth the trouble. J's been working on the Zune in the States, but his first love is still the Xbox 360.

TGS06: Virtua Tennis 3 gameplay

Virtua Tennis 3 also was very visible inside Sega's booth, running on excellent looking 1080p tvs. The 360 version was nowhere to be seen.

Xbox 360 will only natively display 1080p with a VGA cable.
