GR:AW 2 gets fresh content already & competition

Sony Officially Announces Home - Xbox: "Sony officially announced today 'Home,' a new service for the PlayStation 3 that will let PS3 owners to interact in a 3D environment. Although Sony claims it is a 'first-of-its-kind' 3D online user community service, Home is like a mix of the Miis avatars seen in the Nintendo Wii with the interaction offered by Second Life. In the “Hall of Fame,” PlayStation 3 owners will be able to show off other Home users their game achievements.

Probably the most interesting feature offered by Home will be the ability to jump with a bunch of friends frome one game to another, similar to the Halo 2 party system. "

Xboxic: "It has been revealed that should you already have an Xbox Live account tied to your 360, you won’t need to pay anything extra if you wish to use it for PC gaming. That’s right, Live for Windows games will cost you nothing as a current Gold member. If you don’t have a Gold account: the price is the same for a subsciption as that on the 360.

In exactly the same way as the 360, there will be the free but not-as-good offering of Silver, or of course Gold, still priced at $7.99 for one month, $19.99 for three months and $49.99 for a year.

This naturally means that your Achievements and Gamerscore are carried over, so any Vista games that feature Achievements will be added to your ‘Tag, and again carried back onto the 360 when you need it. Now you just have to wait until you can actually use the feature."

In-game Forza 2 footage is pretty

Xbox 360 Fanboy: "Game Trailers posted an exclusive video of a quick Forza 2 in-game demo. As you can see above, the Ferrari Enzo is quick, shiny, and darn pretty. Hell, that car model is gorgeous! And we understand that games like Forza aren't all about their damage effects like the Burnout series is, but we would like to see a few pieces of car fly off when the Ferrari slams into the barrier. But overall, after looking at this short clip, we think Forza 2 fans will be satisifed with how the game looks and what the development team has accomplished with the sequel. Anyone care to share their opinion on the video?"
