Nintendo to make portable Wii peripheral

Some have already seen this list of trademarks that Nintendo filed and there has been some speculation as to the purpose(most likely channels). There has been talk of a lower clock speed smaller broadway chip being made for ninty suggesting a 8inch disc playing portable. Many of the channels listed seem to be related to travel (Wii Map).. Portable?
